Describe what's wrong
In your own words — "my chest hurts", "my son has a fever". We'll work out which department you need, and tell you straight away if it looks urgent.

What's going on?
Tell us in plain words. There's no wrong way to say it, and you can stop at any point and just book a general appointment instead.
A few questions
Four at most. Every answer is optional, and you can skip straight to booking whenever you like.
Is the tightness there right now?
Cardiology looks right
Chest tightness brought on by exertion is most often a heart question, so that's where we'd start. This is a suggestion, not a diagnosis — you can choose differently.
Chest pain, palpitations, blood pressure and heart conditions
Where does it hurt?
Tap the area. You can pick more than one, and you can turn the figure around.
Chest
What does it feel like? This needs attention now
Chest pain with shortness of breath or sweating can be a heart attack. Do not drive yourself, and do not wait to see whether it passes.
In this prototype 911 is shown but not dialable.
Cardiology
Cardiology looks after the heart and the blood vessels around it — chest pain, palpitations, blood pressure that won't settle, breathlessness, and long-term conditions like heart failure. Most people start with a consultation; tests and procedures follow only if they're needed.

Common questions
How would you like to be seen?
All three options are with the same cardiologists. Prices include the consultation and any advice or prescription that comes out of it.
Fifteen to twenty minutes, from wherever you are. Good for discussing symptoms, reviewing results and adjusting medicines.
Thirty minutes at Cedar Park Medical Center, with an examination. Needed if the doctor has to listen to your heart or run an ECG on the spot.
Upload existing reports and get a written opinion within three working days. No appointment needed.
