What gets paid, and by whom.

How auto-pay decides

Rails, in plain language

The auto-pay rules

Four rules stand between your account and any bill. All four must clear before a payment goes out without you.

Pattern
At least two prior matching charges from the same vendor before a bill is auto-payable.
Ceiling
$500 per bill by default — never above your setting.
Deviation
A charge more than 15% off its history is treated as a brand-new decision, whatever the amount.
First payments
A vendor’s first payment is always yours — a permanent rail, not a setting.

Set your ceiling in Autonomy

A recent catch

From the record

On Jul 22, Peak Courier charged $142 against a pattern of about $95 — a swing of +49%. Keel held it as a new decision instead of auto-paying. You approved it on Jul 23, and the exception is on file in the Activity log.

The deviation rule, doing its job: nothing odd goes out quietly.

A note on scope: Keel never makes net-new one-off outbound payments — only recurring bills you’ve established, under the rules you set in Autonomy.
